To start the visit I would park on the Bodenplaats (maximum of 2 hrs.) and walk through the gallery with pillars. On the side of the parking lot you will have to climb four steps, but a little further down only two steps remain. Walk over the level stones to the Marketplace, this route is interesting, it is at the backside of the Town Hall.

The Town Hall is a beautiful building, in- as well as outside. Tours are being held, but the building has no lift. Front, left is the Gallery Vleeshal with changing exhibitions.

In the picture you see a funny portrayal of the medieval sewer system.

Parking on the Damplein gives you the opportunity to visit the Abby (Abdij). Through the gate (on the right side of the shopping street) and then to the right, underneath the next portal. Thus you arrive at the inner court of the Abby, which you can visit, and in the opposite wall is the entrance to the Zeeuws Museum.

Then there is the Museum Het Zeeuws Archief, Hofplein 16 (parking with meters) with changing exhibitions.

Next there is a park with the district in miniature: Miniatuur Walcheren (with a large parking lot).

The Abby is open in July, August and September, tours are being held on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 13.30 tot 15.00 hrs.

Museum Zeeuws Archief: open Tuesday to Sunday from 9.00 17.00 hrs.; in July and August not on Saturday.

Zeeuws Museum: open van 09.00 17.00 hrs.

Miniatuur Walcheren: open every day from10.00 18.00 hrs, except in the winter.
